The Perfect Place for Family Camping in Maryland

from:

If there is one thing every parent knows before planning a camping trip for the family, it’s to be sure there is plenty of fun things for the kids to do. The thrill of sleeping outdoors can wear off pretty quick after the excitement of setting up camp is over. For family camping in Maryland there is one place that will excite every member of the family. The Jellystone Park. Made famous by Yogi bear and his friends, the park is a virtual paradise for adults and kids alike. A lot of planning and fun has gone into making this campground as convenient and family friendly as possible.

Every family that decides to try their hand at family camping in Maryland at the Jellystone Park is in for a treat. Activities like hayrides, swimming, and miniature golf are just a few of the fun things to do during your stay. Of course, there are frequent visits from Yogi himself along with his friends. All guests are also invited to participate in tennis, hiking, and fishing too.

This fantastic family camping in Maryland opportunity has plenty of places to stay too. The campground has a total of 222 campsites. Four of those campsites are considered primitive, for those families that like to truly be a part of nature. That doesn’t even count the cabins. There are 21 luxury cabins, 41 regular, and 12 cozy cabins available for reservation. Obviously there is plenty of room for everyone who wants to come and enjoy this beautiful park.

Some of the amazing fun things for families to do have already been mentioned. In case those weren’t enough, there is more. Families can spend the day riding around the park in pedal carts or relax by watching one of the free movies shown on big screen. The friendly staff at Jellystone also has a lot of fun planned activities for their guests. If swimming is what you want to do on your family camping in Maryland trip, then check this out. There is a kiddie pool, heated pool, and are you ready for this? This park has a new pool complete with 2 400-foot slides. Aquatic lovers everywhere are excited about this.

The kids may not care so much about this, but the park also has some more mundane, everyday amenities that the parents will appreciate. There is a 24-hour laundry, full service store, and dump stations for your convenience. And if you just can’t leave the laptop behind, wireless Internet access is available as well. The shoppers of the family will enjoy visiting the nearby outlet malls and shops. Family camping in Maryland has never been this good.
